Celebrate the International Day of Radiology – 8 November 2025
On 8 November, radiology professionals around the world — including here in South Africa — will celebrate the 14th International Day of Radiology (IDoR 2025). This global event recognises the essential role that radiologists, radiographers, and imaging professionals play in delivering safe, high-quality patient care.
Radiology continues to transform healthcare — enabling earlier diagnosis, fewer invasive procedures, and improved patient outcomes. IDoR offers an opportunity to reflect on these contributions and to promote greater awareness of the impact of medical imaging within our healthcare community and beyond.
We encourage all RSSA members, radiology departments, and practices to take part in the celebration by sharing how you mark the day:
